this flavor was terrible for me, I ended up unable to eat the case of product I foolishly purchased without first tasting a small order. I enjoy this brand’s Teriyaki flavor quite a bit, but this flavor was very, very salty. I like a hot and spicy foods and this flavor sounded promising but the salt content was absurd to me. I use tamari,miso,salt, etc. in moderation, so I’m not anti-salt. You may enjoy this flavor, but I recommend trying it out before buying very much. Try their Teriyaki flavor, I buy a case of it every couple of months.

Great, high- protein snack without meat. I would give it 5 starts if it were not so sweet.

This veggie jerky is fantastic! The Hot & Spicy is my favorite, but all are pretty good too. While it’s true there is a bit less protein in this variety, there is significantly more fiber (6g vs. 1g for soy protein based flavors). Note: there’s a definite spice here, it’s not overwhelming, but it’s definitely there… as the flavor implies.

This is not really a high protein snack. Too bad I missed the link to the nutrional values – only 6 grams of protein. The other primal strips have 10 and are better textured. But if you can’t have wheat, this one’s mainly mushrooms. Also the free shipping takes forever and the prices have go up make them close to the store cost where I live.

As with the Thai Peanut flavor, this hot-n-spicy vegan jerky is a winner! The spice is nice and a great addition to any meal.
